| MORAY RFC 'YOUNG STAGS' BORDERS TOUR 2010 |

Moray RFC U17/18s intend to have an end of season tour in March 2010. The dates proposed are for a 3 match tour from the 26th – 29th March, travelling to the Borders, playing Peebles High School, Melrose Wasps and Gala U18.
The reason for the name of the tour lies with Gordon and Macphail being the main 1st XV sponsors, who have a Stag logo. As the last major ‘outing’ in the junior Section for quite a number of the lads, they will be ‘Young Stags’ before joining the Senior set up fully the following season. We do have a ‘Stag’ as the tour mascot, which we hope will remain as the mascot for each U18 tour organised every two years.
There are some fundraising events planned to help with the overall cost, so please keep an eye on the website for updates on events. The cost is expected to be around £120 each to include bus, accommodation, matches, entertainment and some ‘tour kit’. We plan to have a payment scheme for each player in the New Year eg paying £10 per week up to the date of the tour.
