MORAY RUGBY CLUB DINNER - FRIDAY 24TH APRIL 2015
Tue 10th Mar 2015
On behalf of Moray Rugby Club, I am pleased to confirm that following the success of last year’s Dinner, we will be returning to The Mansefield Hotel, Elgin on Friday 24th April 2015 (7pm for 7.30pm).

I am delighted to say that our speakers this year include Ed Crozier, Vice-President of the SRU. Ed was elected as VP at the Union's AGM in 2014. He previously served on the Scottish Rugby Council as the Glasgow North regional representative and as a co-opted member in respect of Celtic Rugby Limited, the organiser of the Pro12 competition (a body on which he continues to represent Scottish Rugby).

We are also pleased to welcome for the first time to our Dinner Bruce Fummey. Bruce is a stand-up comedian from Perthshire whose routines are known for their irreverent presentations of traditional Scottish culture. The son of a Ghanaian father and a Scottish mother, Fummey describes himself ironically as "the finest comedian on the Afro-Celtic comedy circuit". He is a Burns enthusiast and, about five stones ago, was a keen rugby player turning out for clubs such as Perthshire, Glasgow Accademicals, Brechin, Grangemouth and Crieff.

The Mansefield has a restriction on numbers and in anticipation of a particularly high demand this year, anyone wishing to book a table should contact Craig Forster as early as possible. Tickets are priced at £42.50 per person and to prevent queues at the door they are to be paid for prior to the evening.

Please note that drinks can be pre-ordered directly with the Mansefield and are cheaper than the evening's bar prices. It is recommended that this offer is taken up so that your table is well stocked for the night!

As part of our efforts on the evening to raise funds for the youth activities within the Club any donations for the raffle would be most welcome.
