MORAY RUGBY CLUB DINNER - FRIDAY 29TH APRIL 2016 |
Tue 1st Mar 2016 |
On behalf of Moray Rugby Club, I am pleased to confirm that following the success of last year’s Dinner, we will be returning to The Mansefield Hotel in Elgin on Friday 29th April 2016 (7pm for 7.30pm). I am delighted to say that our speakers this year include Frank Hadden, former head coach of Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby. Frank coached several Scottish age-group teams before being appointed assistant coach of the Caledonian Reds in 1997. He was later appointed coach of Edinburgh Gunners (now Edinburgh Rugby) in 2000 prior to becoming the Scotland coach. He has since coached Scotland to notable wins over England and France in the2006 Six Nations and again winning the Calcutta Cup against England in the 2008 Six Nations. We are also pleased to welcome for the first time to our Dinner Gary Little. Gary is a stand-up comedian from Glasgow. A regular at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, his 2013 and 2014 shows were the fastest selling shows in the programme, requiring an unprecedented 4 additional nights added to the run. Despite his imposing physical presence, a 6’ 2” skinhead, Gary has an incredibly personable and relatable style. The Mansefield has a restriction on numbers and in anticipation of a particularly high demand this year, anyone wishing to book a table should contact Craig Forster as early as possible. Tickets are priced at £42.50 per person and to prevent queues at the door they are to be paid for prior to the evening. Please note that drinks can be pre-ordered directly with the Mansefield and are cheaper than the evening's bar prices. It is recommended that this offer is taken up so that your table is well stocked for the night! As part of our efforts on the evening to raise funds for the youth activities within the Club any donations for the raffle would be most welcome. For further details please contact Craig Forster on: E: craig4star@hotmail.com M: 07831 588 517 24 Wittet Drive, Elgin, IV30 1SW
