So far this season there has been an introduction to the full 15 a side game for quite a number of the squad and the introduction of core skills for the more senior game.
The plan for 2012 is to have, in effect, a ‘second’ season. A lot may depend on the weather for January and February, but we hope to increase skills and fitness during that period and to have a run of games and festivals, including 10s or 7s up to the end of May.
During that time, we will be looking to develop the sides for after the summer with the P7s coming up to train and the S2s moving up to train with the U15s as well. This should help with planning for the season after.
It is a difficult time of the year, with weather and holidays interrupting, but stay fit and let’s build on what has been done in 2011 with a real focus for 2012.
