LEE MILLAR |
Tue 13th Dec 2011 |
In the Glasgow Herald recently there was a photograph and a short note about a young lad who is a product of our Youth Section – Lee Miller.
Less than two years ago Lee left us and went to realise his ambitions as a rugby player.
A player with a talent and a dedication that was obvious to everyone in the Club.
He joined Gala RFC and since then his present club have gone from Premier 2 to the top of Premier 1 and Lee is an almost permanent fixture at stand-off.
He is top scorer in the Borders; he has played against the Barbarians and is clearly on the verge of great things. Hasn’t he done well?
The Club and especially his dad, Brian, are extremely proud of him.
Watch out for him in the future. Maybe he’ll join Moray Low in a Scotland Squad.
To all the youngsters presently coming through our Youth System think of Lee and try to emulate him. All it takes is dedication.
