FESTIVE FUN! |
Wed 5th Jan 2011 |
Well, Christmas time again, and with no training in weeks the P6/7 guys took the opportunity for a brief run out so that they didn’t forget what Sunday mornings are meant to be all about!
A 400 metre jog ‘nearly’ turned into an embarrassing event for the P6/7 players, as they circuited the cinder track, as a P4/5 coach started behind the players and lumbered after them, tracking them down and overtaking back markers, only to run out of breath at 300 meters!
Once the P6/7 players had shown their leapfrog ability and relay race energy, the party commenced!
Plenty of refreshments were supplied, and our thanks go to John and all the crew who supplied all the food for the party (with a quantity left over!!).
A ‘special visitor’ handed out gifts for each of the Micro/Mini age groups, and as the photos show, a good time was had by all!
A ‘charity card’ was signed with donations going to Dr. Gray’s A&E – thanks to all who contributed.
Half the season complete – now for Nairn, Highland, Wick and our own Festivals to come.
Well done for all your efforts so far. ‘Come on Moray’ – let's lift see what we can do, before the end of the Season!!
